Enhanced Capital Allowance
We can advise on lighting and control systems that qualify for the ECA scheme and provide the appropriate information to make a claim.
Enhanced Capital Allowances provide 100% first year tax relief on any items that meet the qualification criteria.
This can equate to £240 towards cash flow for every £1,000 spent, based on a company paying 28% corporation tax.

Carbon Trust
The Carbon Trust - under the ‘Big Refit’ banner - is prepared to offer unsecured interest free loans to installations that meet the criteria.
These loans are repayable over a period of up to 4 years and range from £3,000 to £4,000,000 and cover all types of energy saving items.
The scheme is structured so that the repayments will be met by the energy savings achieved and is restricted to small and medium enterprises.
The government has allocated £100 million, in total towards the scheme, of which £8 million is specifically for lighting.
